Restoration:
"At the time I really enjoyed designing the 904."
(Ferdinand Porsche, 2002)
Around 120 Carrera GTS (Porsche 904) cars were built between 1963 and 1965. It was the first Porsche with fibreglass body and as a result was extremely light. Its tare weight is approx. 640kg.
The car has been fitted with a 2.0l four cylinder flat engine. It is equipped with two camshafts at the top and has a power output of 180 hp. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.5s and achieves a top speed of 260 km/h. In later factory racing cars six and eight cylinders were used.
We restored this Porsche 904. It is privately owned by Manfred Freisinger senior.
