The Swiss Dr. Hans Kühnis was a passionate private driver, who during his many years of career moved various Porsche, an Abart-Simca and other vehicles.

The promoted chemist was a member of Ecurie Basilisk, a racing community from Basel. In his chronicle he is led 1961 as Basler automobile master. In 1962 he won the GT ranking in the Europa-Berg Championship, but it is not sure with which vehicle. In some results lists he is called in connection with a Porsche Carrera Abarth GTL.
